Hi this is our first time joining you all at the retro fest and on receiving the letter and reading it a jacobs table was mentioned excuse our ignorance but what is this and do we need to bring anything for it, cheers Wheelie12

Hi Wheelie a Jacobs Table it really a get together where you bring your chairs plus some food and put it on the table - bring your favorite tipple for yourself and then take from the table something you fancy of whats on offer - its an opportunity for everyone to meet and have a good natter .

Jacobs Table is a term i believe based on the Lancashire and Yorkshire saying of Jacobs Join for bringing your own food to a party or meal. Undoubtedly based on Jacobs coat of many colours

Depends on the weather - Ideally will be Saturday afternoon but as always we need to be flexible - there are at least 10 marshals on so check with one as you go past and we will keep you updated

Don't think so but in Chieveley there is a small general store/ post office only about a 1½ mile walk.

Unfortunately the mobile shop cancelled out on Tuesday not giving the organizers a chance to get a replacement. You all might like to note it was the same firm that usually does Warners shows so there may not be a shop at Malvern next weekend so stock up beforehand
