Oooo, some very negative vibes from a member at this point that doesn't appear to be coming to this event.....

Just saying it the way it is.

I’ve been more than once so not an isolated case regarding RV generators kicking in when the large generators stopped working

I’ve been more than once so not an isolated case regarding RV generators kicking in when the large generators stopped working

1, I have never said that it was an isolated case.
2, I have never denied that a generator has been started, by an RV owner or otherwise.
3, I have said that the showground had given permission to members to run their generators if need be until power was restored.

A lot of the newer RVs are full electric meaning that there is no LPG on board, this means that the cooker, frigde/freezer etc will only work with EHU.
Because of this the on board generator has auto start in the case of mains failure and can start the generator even if the owner is not with their vehicle, after all you would not want your ice maker to stop working .

After the violent and threatening behaviour from 3 members of this club towards a female marshal in the past, and pointless digs by yourself It's getting close to Motorhome Fun not being invited back to this event.

We run a very busy RV repair business, and do all of this in our spare time.

We are at the event days before and after the event each year and do not get paid for our time, no we don't pay for entry however that price does not even come close to the cost of time we dedicate to this event.

That is not acceptable and maybe you should post up who they are

Most Marshall’s are at rallies days before and after them.
None of them get paid so not quite sure why this was introduced to your post

No I can not stop a Fun member who is under 8 meters booking direct with Retrofest and being in general camping, however it is at my discretion as to weather there is a rally area within the showground itself for Fun members in the futute.

If you want to get down with at Newbury this August, then book this today. Book with other clubs like CAMC and be miles away from the action. Come along with us, it will be cheaper and you'll be INSIDE the showground.
