I’ve nothing to compare to as this is the first MH we’ve owned but they are quite rattley aren't they (unless I got a duff one) - other than the obvious ( like wrapping cutlery / plates etc in tea towels what are the top tips to silence them a little ? ( Moho not mrs ;-))

we use the plate protectors from Dunelm big white felt disc's stick kitchen roll in bowls and for the cups in the storage rack used earth cable cover cut to size and slit down the middle and eased on, glass's in a crate in locker wedged in tight , still got to do the oven shelves ? and grill pan should be sorted then fingers crossed.

Cushions stuffed into overhead lockers when travelling = no rattles!!

Then when parked up they go back on the seats or on the bed.

Used to use plate protectors between the saucepans until I set them alight no less than three times when they stuck to the pan! Now use tea towels!

Plates & dish’s I apply little blobs of silicon mastic on the bottoms and let dry, that stops them rattling plus stops them from sliding when eating on the table

We pack as best we can and eventually get used to the noise although the loud bang we heard as we entered France last May just after exiting euro tunnel was a bit much followed by a lot of smaller bangs, thuds and rattles! On looking around the fridge door had come off and all the contents were spread around Hymer!

Turns out previous owner had broken the bottom hinge and glued it back together. Duct tape came to the rescue and it’s still holding it together now.

Hubby had a great idea - put glasses in socks! Otherwise lots of bags for items that might rattle. Still lots of rattles, but you get used to it (the dog doesn't).

I get a lot of noise from stuff in the garage. Going round a corner or a speed bump and it’s sounds like all hell breaking loose in the back. Any tips on best ways to secure different sized, shaped objects.

Good tip about using bubble wrap in the kitchen cupboards.

I use that stackable storage boxes and got a length that just fits front to back in the garage . I’ve also laid carpet in it to stop sliding and other large items (tyre, chairs , table ) jam them in tight

A big tub of cheap bungee straps from Amazon, I’ve got loads and strap everything down, it’s now the only place I don’t get rattles.
