Couple of years.
I’m just about to fit a replacement 375800 siren as the old one has stopped sounding.
This involves removing the old one and splicing the new one onto the existing cable.
Has anyone successfully done this and can offer any tips please?
Thanks, P

I have not done one, but access will be your biggest problem if it is anything like where ours is mounted.
I have a wiring diagram I can PM you if it's of any use to you.

Thanks for your kind offer ToT, I’ve got the wiring diagram etc and I can get access reasonably ok.
I was really looking for some advice on the practical issues that I might be confronted with!
Cheers, P

Hi two on tour
I could really use a copy of the wiring diagram for the 695.
Thanks

I am having problems with my Autowatch 695 alarm system and would greatly appreciate it if any one could send me a wiring diagram and/or installation guide to help resolve the problem. All I got when I purchased the van from new (from Wellhouse leisure) was a basic leaflet explaining how to set the alarm but nothing on how it works, how to install it or a wiring diagram - any of which would be useful when trying to trace faults.

That’s probably because it would be like gold to a thief, giving them the exact location of bits they need to disarm 🤭

I had it done by a company in Shoreham by Sea, but I did a deal with them to keep the cost down. I paid £700, they programmed the 5 door switches for me to fit myself.
I didn't have a PIR as I've had problems before with them setting the alarm off if you leave the van with heating on if it's blow air heating.

They fitted nice 25mm square Autowatch LED units on each side screen that flash when armed, but they fitted the main LED on the dash, don't think they have done many Motorhomes, they will move it but I'd rather do it myself.

I made a boo boo I forgot the internal alarm is not standard so looking at doing that myself.

If I was having another one done I'd probably go to Dragon Alarms in Fareham they have more experience of Motorhomes about £800 - £900 from them.

I used the people in Shoreham as they are only 2 miles from home and fitted me in quickly as I wanted it done before our next trip this week.

Hi Lenny

Thanks for info, thats a lot of door switches !!, Do you use any sensors for the habitation interior ?

If I was paying that much for an alarm I would go to a company that included THEM fitting the door switches, rather than me having to do it.

They would have done it but would have cost more and they fitted me in at a couple of days notice. A lot of companies charge well over £1k for motorhome alarms these days.

We have ultrasonics in the cab area, and a wireless PIR in the hab area, along with wireless contact sensors for the external lockers.

1 switch for cab door, 1 for hab door, 1 each on garage doors & 1 on side locker.
Ultrasonic sensors inside, no PIR sensor as they have a habit of going off if you leave the heating on or a rooflight open when away from the van.
