Replace oven with microwave - IXEO i736g (1 Viewer)

Hi. Just bought our, hopefully, forever MH. However, it has an oven under the hob that will never be used so would like to replace this with a microwave. Anyone done this sort of conversion?

Hi and welcome. Lots have microwaves, me included, but also have an oven which while rarely used, I wouldn’t be without.

The oven works on gas only, so I can use it where, when and long and often as I like. I only use my microwave when plugged into the mains, so EHU. Are you able to have both

If you are intent on removing it, then I’d recommend a gas technician do the task, as you’ll be breaking into the gas system and needs to be done professionally. There are some horror stories of gas explosions inside motorhomes, due to incorrect or incompetent people playing with the gas systems.
