Renogy 40amp B2B

Anyone using one of these? Are you happy with it, is it noisy or does it get hot? I'm thinking of getting one whilst they are on offer on Amazon (£99)

How do you find out what size of alternator you have ?

You will most probably have a 200amp alternator if it has the eco pack fitted.

Victron are great but they do run hot and will throttle back over 40c. They need ventilation and breathing space. I fitted fans to ours and they run full output till the battery is charged.

Have a look at the Votronic range.

I have a Votronic one that has been quietly doing its job for over 5 years without any problems. Good bit of kit with a very good range of charging profiles.

I have locker envy I wish I had thought of putting the multilplus in there. Tidy job nice work
