Hi good people.
I purchased a Renogy 3000W inverter well in advance of being ready to install/use it....it's now 18mth old having been sat in its box in my garage. Now ready I connected it directly to 4 x 180Ah truck batteries in parallel, all new, all fully charged. I get a green light upon switching on but no AC out to either of the sockets.
Left for 5/10 minutes, then a relay is heard & supply is connected. After 1/2 mins, same relay & then powers off for a further 5/10 mins.
And thus it goes, over & over. Be it zero load or any of the 30 to 1200W I've tried....they all work a treat, until it shuts down.
To eliminate the usual suspects, wiring/connections/fuses etc, I connected it to my tractor battery, a beast of a thing, by way of the very best of jump leads as most any farmer must have.
Same result....any thoughts please, aside from
Thanks/Gill
