Those of us with Remis blinds in the cab will be aware of the elbow joint on the side windows and many of us will have experienced them broken.

It might even have been on here but I luckily heard of a chap (Alex Rose) who makes replacement units for this problem. You need two units for each elbow and so he sells them in two’s. They work well. I have now had to replace the originals and, so far, Alex’s replacements have worked very well.

They cost £12.60 for the pair (including postage) which is a great money-saver. They are obtainable via:

Highly recommended. Getting the old elbow out is a bit of a faff and I have used a small drill to break up the plastic before fishing out what’s left with a screwdriver. I’m not an engineer; how did you guess? I now keep a couple of spares in my toolbox.

Just ordered 2 sets as both our blinds are broken. 1 to fix these and 1 for a spare in the locker. Many thanks to Mike for posting the info above.
