Reich Power Jet 25l per min????Hymer (1 Viewer)

The water pump on our hymer is not very powerful so i replaced it with a Reich 19l twin pump but still no real difference, can anybody recommend the Reich power jet 25l min please. Many thanks

Same advice here bluesurf989, as I've had the same experience as yourself, and changing over the wires gave the desired result.

Yep try wire swapping, Hymer wiring Brown Negative, Blue positive, Reich wiring Brown poistive, blue negative.

My van has a 7 l/mini pump and that's plenty! More is just going to mean more power use, more noise, more chance of leaks, and refilling the tank more often.

The other factor is how much pressure the pump can push. A high flow pump might produce poor static pressure, so narrow pipes and lots of junctions and filters might make the flow reduce to a trickle. When a lower peak flow pump that has a better pressure would push more water in a motorhome's restrictive pipework.

I changed my pump to a Reich 25l Power Jet Plus. Definitely increased the pressure. I now carry a spare just in case.
