Refillable LPG

What I would suggest to the OP is that if he does decide to go for the underslung LPG tank, is ask for them to fit the small 12 volt heater just before the regulator as this does help if in very cold weather. The van I am running at the moment has this extra fitted and am sure its there to help the gas and regulator from freezing. If fitted at the same time as the tank it should be a simple cheap job. Not I may add do Iwant to be anywhere to see if it works :)

Additionally I have never crawled under the van to isolate the tank. I simply turn off in the now redundant gas locker

Ours is similar and we have kept the original regulator & isolation valve in situ so we can, if necessary, revert to on board gas bottles.

That is the product of MY remedial work.

THIS is what a "professional" fitted for the previous owner

As Techno said, the gas tank has to be under the floor not in between the false floor as a safety issue, this is in case there is a leak gas will be able to escape into fresh air ad not build up between the floors and risk explosion.

Thanks all for your inputs, as a result, I'm pretty fore-armed and fore-warned to be able to talk to the suppliers (y)
