Refillable Gas Bottles......End of Life.

I "test" my GasLow cylinders nearly every day...

I turn on my cooker and light the gas ring under the kettle...

All good so far after several years!

Diving cylinders get a visual inspection ever 2.5 years and a hydrostatic test every 5 years. The current EU regulations say that a Transportable Pressure Receptacle (makes little difference what they contain) should be pressure tested every 10 years. Diving cylinders fall under the hazardous environment clause and thus are tested twice as often.
I would think that are are many, many more butane (etc) cylinders around than there are diving cylinders and there are companies happy to test diving cylinders.
