SOLD REDUCED FOR QUICK SALE: 2 x Folding 3 Wheel Electric Mopeds

IMV or anyone who wants something more like a traditional petrol moped/scooter but without the hassle of carting fuel around and the associated maintenance that a petrol engine needs, but wants something a bit faster than an E-bike (and safer in my view at the speeds they can go as the brakes etc will be much better), these are a very good alternative.

Good luck with the sale Sue.

Will such things really meet the requirements of a British MOT test in due course then?
Have you got ANY idea what the thing will have gone through to get UK registration ?
The SV / conformity test makes the normal MOT look like a joke !!

If they can get through the examinations required to get registered they would certainly pass an MOT relevant to the class of vehicle

I have done a few self builds from scratch myself so know how vigorous the tests are !! :-)

I must confess Charlie & Shrimp I did start to feel it was being suggested we may be attempting to sell 2 "illegal" machines. I had to respond as surely nobody thinks we would be that stupid to NOT do our homework first before we spent £6000 in total on them? We checked everything out thoroughly and only went ahead with our purchase once we were completely satisfied we were ok to use them on the road both here and in Europe.
I don't have any concerns whatsoever about anyone who may be interested in buying them asking me any questions or wanting reassurance about their legalities or features etc - as I would be doing exactly the same if I were them. But for someone who has no interest in purchasing them, to then voice incorrect information about them in this thread, when clearly they do not have the correct facts to hand re these particular machines, is in my opinion a little impolite.
Still I'm not too concerned by these posts because my conscience is clear and I know the eventual buyer will have a fabulous machine to enjoy using and will encounter no legal issues in riding it. We have all the necessary legal documents they require in order to enjoy them both here in the UK and in Europe.

I think you have been extremely restrained, you've acted in a exemplary manner in the way you replied to negative comments. I admire your outlook(y)

Don't be concerned at all !! Those who comment on the legalities and the cons rather than the Pros won't be at all interested in buying them.

The rest of us just look on wondering why if one has nowt nice to say why not say nowt.

I'm sure someone will buy them for all the positives and enjoy them without worrying.

It really is like the A frame debates. There are those that paint horrendous scenes and pictures about how we that use them will be hung drawn and quartered. They obviously have no need or desire to participate in the devils contraptions but love to have a pop.

Rise above it ! GLWTS !!

Just wanted to repost this ad as we have been away in Spain since September so I have not been at home to sell these folding mopeds. However we are back home on the 15th January, so I’m now able to readverrise them both.

They really are fabulous, robust, top quality and ingenious machines and just perfect for a motorhome as they give you that extra freedom for getting out and about on during your travels.

Please feel free to come and have a test drive if you are genuinely interested.

Hi folks,

We have got 2 x A735 road legal, folding 3 wheel electric mopeds / E-Bikeboards for sale that have never really been used. My husband has driven his only half a dozen times and myself, I have never really used mine, except for a test drive on a quiet country road.

They are excellent for a motorhome and fold down to a really compact size, and are ideal for taking away on holiday, especially if you like to travel around Europe to sunnier climes.

The only reason for selling these 2 fabulous and top quality machines is that due to my disability issues, I'm just too nervous about driving it on the road, as I just don't feel confident enough. Reluctantly, I've ended up buying an electric pedal assist tricycle that I can ride on the pavement.

My tricycle cannot reach the same speeds as the E-Bikeboard, so my husband has been forced to purchase an electric bicycle that travels at the same speed as my tricycle, in order that I can keep up with him. Otherwise, he shoots off ahead like the clappers!!!!

We ordered these from Germany and paid £3,000 each for these machines 4 years ago and like I say they are both still just like new! The 2 lithium batteries on each of the 2 vehicles have been excellently maintained and are in top class working order. I am looking for £1500 each for these awesome machines.

The E-Bikeboards would be brilliant for a couple who are looking for a mode of transport that is a little more adventurous and far more fun to ride than a typical electric push bike. Another advantage is that they go faster than an electric bike, which can only reach a max speed of 15mph. The maximum speed of the E.Bikeboard is 35kph (22mph.)

Here is a you tube video I've found of one being driven and folded.

Jim might be able to email him if you ask him.

Thank you CWH that’s a good suggestion. May I please ask you if you know how I contact Jim directly?

I'm sure if he's genuinely interested he will either register, or set up another a/c (perhaps a bit naughty, but a fact of life)

Andrew
