We get our Mo Ho tomorrow, whoop whoop. At Vanbitz to get stuff done. Does anyone have any recommendations for things to do for the day while the van is worked on? (No car so walk, bus or taxi)

Hi there - we found a great cafe at the top of the pedestrian area near the park entrance. a slow lunch sitting outsite - fab. I had the plowman's which is amazing. Then an amble round the park.

We have arrived. - 1 night in van, we like it so far. Cornish farm site is delightfully quiet. Taxi I reckon to town tomorrow - it’s baking hot! Thanks for all the tips.

Wear a Welsh Rugby shirt and sing ! land of our fathers on a loop, wave raw leeks and chew on his daffodilles, get your kids to skate board around the Toilets and play with the water taps

We took our bikes and cycled along the canal tow path to Bridgwater. Most of it was fine, until we got to Bridgewater!
We did find a reasonable pub and some food, but that was about it. If we had to go to Vanbitz again we would walk to Taunton.

I'd do the cycle to Bridgewater again but wish they'd transplant the destination with something a bit more interesting. Having said that not that much time to spend there with the the efficiency of Vanbitz they were already phoning as I was en route back to say they were done and wanted to handover.

Agreed and for the information of others, there is no reason to go to Bridgwater!

As funny as that might be, I just couldn’t wear a Welsh top….

Ashley will probably drop you off in Taunton so you can have a wonder around the shops
(some interesting second hand come antique shops). Also the park area by the canal a pretty place to have a sit & some nice coffee shops & eateries but being tight we went to Wetherspoons for lunch. You can get a bus back leaving just a short walk back to VanBitz. Would you please say hello to all there - all cooking well on those wonderful lithiums - Nikki & George from Bognor Regis.
