Recommendations for Cotswolds

Traveling back from Somerset to Northampton in August and fancy 3 night in Cotswolds.
Walking distance to watering holes/village etc.

Anyone have any favourites or recommendations please?
We can recommend Moreton-in-Marsh

Video here:

Depending on where you want to be in the Cotswolds, I can recommend Newton Grove CL (CAMC) £12.50 p/n.
Brilliant off grid CL, no toilet facilities, but everything about it is first class. It is located on the edge of the village of South Newington which is a few miles from Bloxham. There is a very nice pub/eatery (The Duck on the Pond) in the village a short walk away. and other walk able pubs a bit further afield.

Thumbs up for Bridge House, park just across the road, easy walk to pubs....mind the cow stuff walking to the bridge.......

Chasleton rd campsite, Little Compton. In between Morton on the Marsh and Chipping Norton. Red Lion in Little Compton for good food and drink. Chastleton House (National Trust) just up the road.

It says from £15 but the lovely old(ish) guy that runs it was going to charge us £8 per night back in March but then gave it us for free because we got stuck in the mud.

It's basic - just a field with a toilet (potential for shower but not sure if he's done that yet). No Electric.

Lovely spot though for a quiet few days.

Wysdom looks perfect if we didn't have our 11 year old grandaughter with us, adult only.

Wondered if Cirencester might be a bit busy? Seems huge!

Broadway looks good, there is a CAMC & CCC, any preferences?

Anyone stayed at the Lower Lode Inn at Tewkesbury?
The Lower lose Inn looks great, but it's not accessible from the Tewkesbury side of the river.

If coming up the M5, try The Gloucester Old Spot pub just off Junction 10 (except northbound, in which case Junction 11). Easy bus route into Cheltenham with lido and parks for an 11year old. Great food at pub. Think it is on usual apps.

We are staying at Cotswold Carp Farm...no longer fishing site...and basic but all sites are lake view and it is 10 mins into Bourton on the Water...lively

At Broadway C& MH site at present. Upper level pitches great for the heritage railway and best views. Easy walk to village. Enjoy.

Just come back from Hayles Fruit Farm, Winchcombe. . £25 per night. Has everything you need including alcohol. Highly recommended. A

Afew years ago we spent a week walking the Cotswold Way while using the motorhome for living. It took a lot of planning to find places to park/sleep that were convenient for walking and could enable one-way transport using say buses but we managed it. I recall Hayles Fruit Farm was one of the places we stopped as the CW passes right by them.

QUACKERS, off Jan 17 M4, Burford car park allows free overnight next to church. Loads of pub sites
