im a not so newbie
The time has come for me to bite the bullet and buy four new tyres.

I would prefer lowish road noise but want decent grip particularly in the wet and possibly, when extension is finished, in snow as well.

Reasonably priced would be handy.

I’m have the wheels powder coated and they will fit new tyres for me.

It’s going on our 995m Rapido that runs at 4.5 ton.

Size is 225 70 15.

Don’t have to be camper specific providing load is ok.

TiA 😊

What tyres have you got on now Rich…?

Just smiffy

Hi Gary

Still got the ones that were on there when we bought her off you 😳 so Continentals.

Just they’ve aged and the alloys are starting to look rough and allowing a bit of leaking 😳

I’ve ordered the Maxxis so thanks for your searching prowess 👍

Original Sprinter alloys.

£45 a wheel including tyre fitting etc

Will do them in a day.
We will have a mucho around Brum whilst they are doing them 😊

Dropped the wheels off yesterday and collected today as I had other stuff to sort out both days.

Of course I picked a colour that carries a premium 🙄
Extra tenner a wheel, ohh well.

Now got to coat them with poor boys wheel sealant.

I used the above on my classic Subaru wheels and the muck just fell off it 👍

The advantage of doing your house up the wheels can come inside 😂

Now watching the boxing on tv whilst giving the wheels the third coat of poorboys sealant 😊

That’s tomorrow’s job.

I’m giving the callipers another coat of red paint after taking the pads out for a refresh 👍😊
