stuff that, it would be the kids sleeping on them not meSame here - been through several makes and none have been as good as our Isabella’s.
The leg extensions are a must - have slept on ours when kids turned up.

Oh goody a chair thread, we are on mark 5 or is it 6, the ones we have are comfy got them at a show, think we got most of them at a show. Only drawback is if we forget to put them away and it starts to rain as they are padded and not easy to dry. Still looking for ones which are as comfy, a bit lighter and fit in the travel space. wonder what the NEC will have
+1 well made tooWe have tried lots and lots of chairs and up to now the most comfortable and sturdy but light are from the Isabella range, we also have the extensions for lounging .
We have these too. Very strong but quite heavy compared to the flimsier ones. Cant remember where we bought them but were very reasonable.View attachment 282049 We have some lightweight recliner chairs purchased from Aldi. The first pair in 2005, in regular use every summer at home. We then bought another pair in 2010 that we use in the van. Totally robust, compact and comfy.
Trouble is they are a seasonal item, so only in store for a short time. Think we paid about £25 each. They come up at Lidl too. Ours are currently providing service in Spain!View attachment 282049
Definitely Lafuma for me?(and the dog!!)??Saw the post about recommending a table so thought I would follow it up.
Seems to me, every year we buy some fancy camping chairs and ev very year at some point they break and end up going in the bin.
Who makes a strong folding camping chair that is really made to last, doesn't have rivets or nuts that come loose and fall apart or plastic bits that snap.
I have tried from cheap to expensive, they are all as bad as each other.
This thread is over a year old. My guess is that the OP will have found what they were looking for by now. ceejayt what did you get in the end?I'd recommend something more practical but still lightweight, any of these models will do: https://activegeardirect.com/top-5-lightweight-camping-chair/ Should be pretty comfortable but really stable as well. Other details are to your liking.
I doubt I'd doze off in that thing ?View attachment 378190
We have had these Coleman directors chairs for 8 or 9 years now, still as good as ever, and the table comes in really handy. Nice and comfy and very strong - light too.
