Can anybody recommend some comfortable recliner chairs please?
Ideally with a foot rest and can tilt quite far back for a good quality snooze.
Need to be foldable for sensible stowage. Not too bothered about weight. Compact folded size is more important than weight because my MH doesn't have a garage. So when travelling the chairs will probably have to fit behind the cab seat.
Internet searches don't seem to be coming up with a great deal of choice.
I haven't yet got to grips with the best specialist suppliers of things MH related.
Many thanks.

We have Crespo they are spanish and when you buy them in Spain they come with a 6 year guarantee, I have seen them on Amazon UK but I doubt they get the guarantee.
Our last ones had 4 year, and in that time I had 2 repairs done, and if they can't repair they replace. (y)
They are compact and lightweight you can get various leg rest for them. Bob.

Bloody hell.

Just read the instructions on my new chair...

I can't believe it!

The bloody thing only has a payload of 100kgs.

Oh dear... overloaded as usual. :(

Ha! ha! PVC. Was expecting that, but tiffin-proof is not in the requirement specification.

Yes, could store in the shower, but have just recently reorganised to clear everything out of the shower/WC so that the WC is usable when travelling.
WTF. or have I misread that you use the toilet for tiffin when travelling ?????

27 motorhomefunpoints for you sir.

Try inputting the following into your search engine
Crusader Lollie Pop Chair
These chairs are reasonably priced and are quite light weight . Although they don’t fully recline I also purchased 2 Kampa foot rests/side tables. I used to store them covered with towels in the wet room.
But I now have a Fiamna box and they fit in there very well

Yes, but only when on cruise control and the kettle simmering on the gas hob ready for refreshment when finished.

I have dukdalf. Found the lafuma uncomfortable.
You really need to sit on them yourselves to try them out.

Outwell Harbour Hills Black Chair CH174-18 not cheap but they are 'scissor' fold and fit in a long bag which fits in the locker under the bed...they recline and are very comfortable. Our Lafuma chairs are now retired to the house as they folded flat and were not the most convenient in the underbed storage as they had to be stored on the bottom so could not be easily accessed if we just wanted to site out for a bit. The new Outwell ones can be whipped in and out at the drop pf a hot.

can't help on the chair front, we are still after 10 years hunting the 'perfect' chair, but one storage solution we used was to sit the chairs in the stair well of the habitation door. had to use the van doors to get out till we reached the destination, but at least the loo was usable.

If your limbs aren't what they used to be, be careful with the chairs that have the fixed leg rest. For me they interfere with me getting up from the chair, my feet cannot go back far enough to allow the leverage from my knees to rise.

Being a bit of the heavy persuasion we have found most aluminium ones to be a bit flimsy. Currently using some steel ones with the ally footrests from the last lot we broke. Much stronger and only a little bit heavier.

We’ve had lafuma in the past . But we prefer the Isabella ones we have now . They have a detachable foot/leg rest and a neck rest and are very very comfy. I’m tall and they’re plenty long enough to nod off on. Supporting all your legs and feet. Plus the fact that you can sit upright, with your legs up is great. The other chair automatically reclined when you wanted your legs up.
They are very comfy in the lumbar back region too.
Plus when folded they fit in our storage and we have a PVC.

We looked at the Isabella and really liked them but a couple of inches too big when folded to fit where we carry them, it was keep the bike or new chairs, so still using the old ones.

Dukdalf XL. Plenty of room for me and very supportive. I love my Lafuma but it's too heavy. Had it 12 years now and still going strong. Use it in the garden now.

We have these Westfield chairs - together with the optional detachable footrests - and are delighted with them:

They are light, very strong and extremely comfortable.

We have become recent converts to Dukdalf chairs. Not cheap though
Our last set are still going strong after 20 years continuous use. We bought new ones (would have been rude not to after 20 years) so daughter could have the old ones. Apart from comfort & longevity it doesn't matter if they get wet - you can simply wipe them dry.
