Can anybody recommend some comfortable recliner chairs please?
Ideally with a foot rest and can tilt quite far back for a good quality snooze.
Need to be foldable for sensible stowage. Not too bothered about weight. Compact folded size is more important than weight because my MH doesn't have a garage. So when travelling the chairs will probably have to fit behind the cab seat.
Internet searches don't seem to be coming up with a great deal of choice.
I haven't yet got to grips with the best specialist suppliers of things MH related.
Many thanks.

Hi
They might tip over when having your tiffin.
I have often read on here, also elsewhere, that people store this sort of thing in their shower. would that be easier for you? I would protect things to stop scratches and cracks.

Look at the Lafuma range .. not the cheapest but great quality and should last for years, not like some of the cheap non descript ones.

Ha! ha! PVC. Was expecting that, but tiffin-proof is not in the requirement specification.

Yes, could store in the shower, but have just recently reorganised to clear everything out of the shower/WC so that the WC is usable when travelling.

Thank you. Will check these out.

Lafuma are great. Ours too heavy and bulky though to take with us. The other downside I found to my Lafuma is that when feet up, head is down so not easy, in fact impossible for comfy reading, knitting or wine drinking!

Reclines as much or as little as you want and locks into your chosen position...

I'll go and find the vendors details...

Here you are.

Mine looks like that when upright but as I recline back to allow feet to rise the backrest goes down. It’s very comfortable for snoozing on but not much else.

Isabella, two types, ones with elastic on edges, more expensive and the other type without the elastic. We have the ones with elastic, I think they are slightly wider, have had ours for a few years now and still as good as new. You can get footrests to go with them. They fold up really well too. Good for having a layback snooze too.

We bought a couple of blue stripy chairs which are very similar to JJ's at Mountain Warehouse. They still have them in their clearance section on their website for £34.99. Very comfortable and they travel on our bed.

After buying several different recliners and finding them either too big or too heavy we bought a pair of these from Go Outdoors.
www.outwell.com/en-gb/ecommerce/accessories/furniture/kenai
which fold almost flat, are quite light and also fully recline - we also bought the optional footrests. They're perfect when sitting at a table, unlike most one-piece recliners. Not cheap but in use have proved to be far better than the others we've wasted money on bought. With the rear box on storage is simple but they have happily lived under the bed.

We've just bought a pair of outwell ones. Aluminium frame and very comfy

Same as @Riverbankannie I like to sit up, but with my legs supported. No room in my PVC for a ‘proper’ chair - have tried various locations but the dratted thing is always in the way when both it and I are inside the van!

Has anyone tried these inflatable loungers? I’ve got a 12v pump in the van, and it wouldn’t take up much space when folded up?

You won't be able to sit up in that either.

We are very disappointed with our Lafuma Chairs.

We have the recliners and have really tried to look after them, very rarely used and never kept out in the sun unless in use. We even have the Lafuma black carry bags.

The arm rest cover has peeled and both chairs have had to have the elastics replaced after a short period.

We also have two standard chairs that have not been very good.

I like to try and buy European built quality. Wasted my money in this instance. Just glad I did not pay the full price.

Had mine 12 years, retirement present from work. No problems yet!:)
However too heavy and bulky to take away in van.
