Headrush Very similar to our experience, so just went ahead and upgraded. Not worth the hassle IMV especially if there were to be a serious incident.

Headrush if you only have c+e on your licence you will be limited to 3500kg you need c1 to drive a heavier van

Err, no. C+E is 44 tonnes. Maybe you meant B+E?

With ours being an Alko chassis it came to around £2600 for air assist, tyres and paperwork

I don't know what an Alko chassis means so hopefully I've not got one.

Well I've read that there is only about 80kg payload on a stock van, so we'll be rationing toilet paper.
