Has any one here owned a rapido 942 and can comment regarding quality or not as the case maybe also comments on the merc 2.7 enginge/chasis?
Is this a merc chassis or alco?

What year is the Rapido?

I’ve got a 995 with a 2.7 engine.
Alls good as far as I’m concerned

Merc 2.7cdi 156bhp a nice engine but it struggled terribly on our 6.4 tonne Hymer. Engine can have problems with injectors or google “ Black Death”

Timing chain so no issues there though. Maintenance is critical as with any engine so check the history and paperwork.

Don’t know anything about the Rapido side.
