Do you mean keeping it within its legal maximum weight limit?

Rather if it is possible to uppgrade to 3850 kg

Depends what chassis and tyres it’s on, most will go to 3650 and some to 3850 without modifications.
The main problem is that the increase in payload is likely to be over the front axle which is next to useless.
Maybe you can add air assist to the rear and increase the load rating of the tyres and add some extra available load over the rear axle.

I am not familiar with what chassis your van is on.
Maybe others know the van better than I.
