Hi
Went out to put something in the motorhome this evening and when i turned on the lights i heard something from the switch and the lights never came on, traced back to the fuse box in the garage and both 10 amp fuses were blown which i have now replaced and checked with a multimeter but still the lights are not working. This is down one side on the inside which includes 4 cupboards plus an under strip and also a strip around the seat. They can't all have blown, surely and all the cupboards down one side, is there anywhere else that i need to look that anybody is aware of?
This is a 2017 Rapido 10000 DFH but i am assuming a lot of the rapido's will be the same, some pictures are below. Anyone also knows what that rocker light switch is called as its on a spring so it doesn't actually switch on it pushes then springs back to where it started to turn the light under the counter on and off, but the cupboards are just controlled via opening them not related to the switch at all unless somehow It's wired in there as well.

I checked all remaining fuses in the fuse box in the garage, and they are all OK, no idea where to look now to be honest, got to be some more somewhere as that's a lot of lights to lose

One other thing to note is that when both those fuses went, I still had lights on the opposite side when opening cupboards

Have you tested the switch?

Have you tried a different lamp not attached to the van?
Not yet tested the switch as it was late and very dark, i was going to just order another switch but wasn't sure what that are called but aside from the switch the cupboards are not linked to that switch. They just come on when you open them and they are all off on one side.

This is the normal twin switch that is used in my oldish Rapido, Berker is the make.

That looks different as the one i have does not stay on one side when you push it as it springs back, the one listed stays down like a normal switch

For clarity are you saying that the cupboard lights come on independently? Surely there must be a switch somewhere so that they do not get left on if airing a locker or simply by accident? Or are you saying the rocker switch controls both the over galley etc lights and also feeds the microswitches for each locker? If the latter then the rocker switch is a good candidate for the fault.

P.S. The god news is that this happened on you driveway and not e.g in a queue to board the ferry!!

So the rocker switch only contol the lighting under the cabinet (one side of the switch) and the other side of the switch is the lighting around the seat post, the cupboards only come on when you open them. On the control panel above the hab door there is a central switch that controls all lighting so when airing cupboards I turn this off then open all cupboards so no lights come on.

So the rocker switch maybe faulty as it happened when i pressed it, but I cannot see how this controls the cupboards as well as if the rocker switches are off then the cupboards usually still work when i open them

Loose connection behind the rocker switch (?poor crimping?). If the same feed is the route for both sets of wiring has a stray/loose wire shorted out the rocker switch and done for the locker lights at the same time.

That exhausts my very amateur ability to assist!!

Appreciate the assistance, i will replace the switch anyway as it's the easiest thing to do.
