Thanks for your thoughts, flipping them over might work if I can get them out without breaking them, and if I can get them back in again. Here are the pictures where you can see the bends and the inserts into the framework.Short of seeing an image, I am not sure, BUT, if they are removable, just flip them over; that should do as a short term measure, . . . . . . . it works with the shelves in the wife's wardrobe !

He He! I think maybe this happened with the previous owners .......May I suggest a diet?
Sorry, but someone had to say it...
Good, cool. I'm sure you could get new slats from maybe Ikea? Is the bed 200x80? they do that size.He He! I think maybe this happened with the previous owners .......
Or Leroy Merlin here do them also.Good, cool. I'm sure you could get new slats from maybe Ikea? Is the bed 200x80? they do that size.
Are yours fitted in the same way as mine? How did you get them out?Yes they come out.
I swapped mine around so the flatter ones are now at feet end of the bed and the best ones where we lay.
Hi Ratcatcher,In our Benimar, I removed the plastic end piece, but some of these snapped in doing so, I then got some spares from the same place I got the new slats. They push into holes in the metal frame underneath.
Push fully to one side (they are shorter than the space) then bend them and flex them outAre yours fitted in the same way as mine? How did you get them out?
Thanks, Rob
Once you have one out, I would measure it, lenth width and thickness, I am sure they will be a standard size, or at least the width and thickness, the length might not be standard, if it is an odd sized bed, but they are easy to cut down.Push fully to one side (they are shorter than the space) then bend them and flex them out
