Just a 'Heads up' on this one . You can book thru the web site. Large Show Ground but hope for good weather. Can recommend the Pubs and meals. :thumb:

£35 Thursday to Monday...clubs by arrangement (2nd-6th October)

Proceeds in aid of Air Ambulance

Our local rugby team holds rallies on its ground quite often the caravan club hold an event there couple of times a year. I have also seen M/H's there a few rimes so if anyone wants a rally in Dumfries let me know and i will go and get details. It is less than a mile from the town centre and the rugby club has a bar not sure of opening times but sure it is open most fri and sat. There is a small corner shop across the road and everything you would really need is close by.

So let me know if any are interested.

Gerry
iwhat dates could you get wood suit me thanks denis

ASHOVER DERBYSHIRE ....... Heads up on this one 2014

Bookings will commence in about 2/3 weeks.

They inform me there is camping for 40/50 .Field used for many rallies.

A rally in West Wales (near the coast?!) in the school summer holidays in July/August would be good if anyone has a suitable site?

No problem if anyone gets bogged in either - plenty of tractors available.

Depends how much rain there has been the night before :thumb:
They hold the Best Agricultural Show in Derbyshire ( as opposed to that fancy thing called Bakewell ) on the same area so certainly big enough.

Are you putting together a rally for this event?

Would not know where to start Jim and too close to home, but thought the dates may be of interest to some hence the BUMP and it is in a field (or two ?)

I have organised a meet in Kent, like yourself apprehensive, but hey with Funsters alongside to point me what's the worry.

How do you get the yellow tag at the beginning of a rally Jim?

Do remember that we have an exemption that allows us to rally almost anywhere we wish. So if you know of a nice level field near you, or near an event, why not contact the landowner and see if we can rally there? As long as the rally is 5 days or less there will be no problems or objections The landowner might want paying, and if so, this can be worked out by charging a rally fee to cover the costs. For example if a landowner wanted £100 and we had 10 ralliers for 2 nights, £5 a night would cover it, 20 ralliers, would pay about half that (I think)

Lots of Funsters pay to go to Show Rallies and do not visit the show. They are content to just be parked in a field and socialise with others. Finding our own fields might suit some better, be much cheaper, a lot more fun and a lot less rules and regulations! Give it some thought, if you want to hold a rally I will ensure you get all the help you need. :thumb:

Points to note.
CHARGING RALLIERS IS TO COVER COSTS ONLY Rallies will be completely non profit making. I do not want members thinking this might be a business opportunity and setting up rallies all over the country to make a tidy profit. If you want a rally on your own land, then get another member to organise it otherwise you'll be deemed a trader. Our insurance covers us only as a rallying club and not as a business making money from rallies.
How do you get the yellow tag on a rally Jim?
Can one be put on the Whitby goth meet on 31st oct

Hi="isitfriday, post: 355008, member: 11110"]field in Limington

Hi
there is a field in limington hampshire that is regularly used by the other clubs for rallies. I approached him to use the field for my daughters wedding and he was very ameanible and said yes so i know he would be happy. It is walking distance to Limington and on the edge of the New Forest.
He has two fields that he uses,

Bamptons Farm, Lisle Court Road, Lymington, SO41 5SH[/QUOTE]
Hiya I would be interested in coming to a rally there ,especially as I know the area well as I regularly go fishing in that are. Please keep me in mind. ..Roy

Before Dorset Rally would clash with Stratford so may limit attendees but after would probably be brilliant :) We have limited time with working so unlikely to be possible for us but would if we could.
