PVC: what to buy to supplement 2 rings?

Thanks for that @Cat53. I very much like the idea and will most likely buy one in preference to a slow cooker. The idea of cooking while travelling is brilliant. thanks for the heads up.
I wouldn't be too hasty. You could make your own wonder bag from an old duvet. I don't think the wonder bag was made for cooking on the move ~ you would need a container that doesn't spill. Maybe use a pressure cooker (dual purpose)?
Mr D's will be better at keeping the heat in, and cooking. But it will also be more expensive.

A double skillet, which can be used as an oven, or 2 x pans separately on the gas rings.
You can bake, roast, fry, poach, saute, and boil. We've had one for years, and are rarely on EHU for most of the year. ;)

Other styles and brands are available, should you wish to research.

Cheers,

Jock. :)
We have one, used it 26 years and still going strong, use it as two pans two pans one with a lid, two pans stacked, two pans AND glass lid on top simmering, also put them on bbq. Best thing we spent money on, it was £40 then but has worked out at 3 quid a year so cheap as well

Yep, we've had ours since we started our caravanning days back in the late 80s, albeit since replaced (due to the brake up of the Teflon lining), but like for like. (y)

Cheers,

The blurb says you can put a stew in it and take it to the beach or a picnic or a family festive feast, it has carry handles, so cooking on the go. We use a verso cooking pan with a tight fitting lid. Because you draw it up tight the pan is perfectly stable. I will get back to you on the cooking on the move. As I will be doing just that!
