Putting feet on the dash while under way…not nice viewing…

My other hobby is knitting & crochet and I am aghast at how many people knit/crochet whilst a front seat passenger in a car. A knitting needle or crochet hook embedded in your body is not the kind of piercing anyone wants.
Or the old classic of having a hard hat on parcel shelf , a nice missile in an emergency stop /collision

It’s not just knitting needles that are dangerous when driving

NB people of a strong moral disposition need to grab a cuppa first before viewing.

You should also not wear anything round your neck, such as a lanyard with a plastic holder or keys on it, as these also have the potential to cause serious injuries in a collision.

I've always thought it looked most uncomfortable to have your feet up on the dash but I do know of someone who used to always travel that way when she was a passenger.

Just checked the link.

It was air bag deployment that caused the
injuries.

Plenty of injuries caused via crushing by engines coming back into the passenger cabin.

Just saying

Gary Lineker tweeted something positive about the protestors on Silverstone’s track.

He soon had a couple of videos posted showing people meeting race cars - both were yellow flag incidents. So not racing speed. So, on the side topic, they needed and had warnings.
Not sure an X-ray does but it is in the viewers’ opinion. Not mine.

Love to be able to lift my legs that high, what with the dicky hips, bad back and old age aches and pains.
I was just about to post the same thing. I couldn't throw my legs up like that now anyway like I used to. Aunty Sciatica would pay me a visit for a few days or even weeks :giggle:

I agree, I’d rather be warned about an image that’s been around for years that’s not actually real as I’m a bit flakey

This one upset me in 2013 and would have liked some snowflake alerts as well as I’m feeble

Hi Folks,
I am amazed at the number of people who hang an arm out of the window while driving, or in the passenger seat. Quite apart from the risk of hitting something, just the flies would hurt!
It is also interesting to see the number of cars who have dodgy roofs - especially in hot weather - the drivers seem to have to hang on to them to stop them flying off.
If ever there was a clear sign that they are not driving with both hands on the wheel........

She won't be doing that again. Prob because she won't ever again be able to lift her legs up that high

Some pics/photos/why need a spoiler but I don’t think an X-ray is one of them.
We all have these things inside us called bones some stay in the correct place, some get moved or broken……it’s life!
My MiL had X-rays done a while ago for a hurting back she said it was horrible it looked like there was an insect inside her, she has no idea as to how her body works!

I use cruise control if I've had more than 6 pints of lager :)
Disgusting! You should use Cruise Control after four pints! How do you expect to control a car when drunk if you have to operate the controls? :Eeek:(y)

Warning, this picture shows hundreds of lives lost, decimated and includes graphic images of damaged bodies.

People of a weak disposition are asked not to view..

Surely life itself is dangerous and full of unpleasantness?

So whereabouts does one draw the line?

Did you have to post that picture, you've probably given someone there idea of setting up a protest group to defend the rights of little innocent bugs. Now people will have to ensure they don't leave a bike where a protester might glue themselves to the screen or the headlights

We’ve just come back from the very narrow lanes of Devon. Had the heeby-jeebies when we were squeezing past several cars in one lane (lots of hidden stone walls) and I saw the car we were passing had a child in the front passenger seat hanging her arm out of the window! 😳

Thanks for the info. I would never have thought that motorcycles had cruise control. Genuinely surprised. So the next question is do they all have (broken) speed limiters?😂😂😂

Has nobody else noticed the clowns face in the middle of the pelvis?
