Processionary Caterpillars

I live in Spain and my friend went near them and got a nasty rash over most of his body and his dog has lost part of his tongue and had a vets bill of nearly 200 Euro, he was lucky many dogs die. Stay well clear of the little blighters!!!!!

They have them in Portugal as well JJ as said once they leave the nests in the trees and come down they are looking for nice soft soil to burrow into untill they become moths

There have been confirmed outbreaks in the south of the uk too in recent years, so not limited to spain portugal and france. Really nasty litle sods that should be avoided at all costs

Reads like brilliant fun... I must remember to pack my special industrial gloves kindly supplied by one of my sponsors the Dellwood and Scran International Supply Company...

... do these caterpillars attack little frogs?

JJ

..... Frogs are far too clever... They live in water... and in water.... caterpillars ...just ....die:Smile::Smile: Isn't life cruel:Cool::Cool:
