Does anyone carry a printer with them whilst travelling ? Thinking it would be handy for printing off docs etc for re entry to UK.. Something small and portable that will print from a smart phone would be great..BUSBY.

I've got a Canon PIXMA iP110 Portable Printer with Battery, cost about £175 from Amazon a couple of years ago. Fits nicely at the bottom shelf of an overhead cabinet, almost forgot it was there until I spotted it the other day. Have not used it for at least a year so should try it to make sure ink hasn't dried up.

Works well printing documents on wifi, directly from iPad or laptop, also prints photos pretty well.

After not using the printer for probably 18 months - firstly power brick had got migrated out of van into pile of unknown adaptors in the house - so glad I got them back together.
Secondly Colour ink seems to have dried up . Black still seems to work ok. Tried cleaning cycle a few times but it is now saying cartridge change required. Dilemma now is - do I put a new cartridge in to test if it works ok and then potentially leave it to dry up again or wait until I actually need it - which is becoming less and less often given how many places now accept things on phone screens.

Previously to this I had a Canon Selphy, which was a nice little photo printer - but I sold it and moved up to the ip110 because I thought being able to print in A4 would be more useful.
