At the moment we are in Blair Atholl campsite and ran out of gas last night. The campsite when asked had also ran out( end of season).
When I asked if they knew the nearest stockists they said the BP garage in Pitlochry. We duly purchased a cylinder at the bargain price of £46.99. Gas was needed so no option but will never darken their doors again. Our local supplier in North Berwick charged £28.00 in June.
Now can anybody beat that price

We paid £32 at the fuel station in Kinlochbervie, if you need any more whilst up there.

At home we pay £25.30 at a local dealer. Charlton Whitehouse Fuel supplies, not far from J2 of the M5 if anyone is round this way. Prices varied, right up to £47 at a local garage.

For a 6kg Flogas exchange bottle, we pay £20.48 - price hasn't changed since 2022.

Mole Valley Farmers, Newton Abbot, Devon.

We also carry a 6Kg Calor, not exchanged since 2021 but we paid £22.85 for the exchange at that point, at another country store in Ashburton, Devon.

We 'bought' both the Flogas and Calor cylinders 'used' (empty) via FB Marketplace for around £10, so have never paid the 'contract fee' for a new bottle.

£85 for a new full 6kg Calor cylinder near me. MoHo only came with one so I bought another.

Patio gas refill was £60 for comparison. It's not cheap!

My local council tip used to let you take away empty cylinders for free, not sure if that's still the case.
