Preventing condensation in motorhome overnight

Good Evening

Just a question on the screens, sorry if it’s a bit silly…
How do they attach to the van?

As Jewellbags states, they slip over the doors and then velcro tightly around the wing mirrors. They often have a velcro 'pull-down' bit to let light in during the day.

If you are thinking of getting one, get the long version that covers the vents under the windscreen.

Agreed on the long one , we haven’t and wish we had

What happens to all that condensation that runs down the inside of the window screen ?
I’ve often thought that, our last motorhome came with Remis blinds suffered with condensation until we bought external screens, we occasionally used the Remis when we made a short stop and always ended up with condense running down the inside of the screen & presumably lingering there somewhere waiting to evaporate back into the van.

If you have power available I would recommend a small dehumidifier.

I had one about the size of a kettle and it worked OK apart from regularly freezing up. Then I bought a residential unit that claims it’s good for a large area. The unit is a bit big, a bit heavy, not too bad on power consumption and keeps our TT (read caravan) bone dry year round.

Hi
We are newbies and our 1st season. We have an Autotrail Tribute 2012. It came with internal silver screen thermal insulation blinds, that we find beneficial in cooler weather.
But we like the sound of external blinds. Our question is. After a cold wet/damp night how do you store them to move on without a large garage area?
Thanks everyone!

If you have an awning, sleep out in that?

Just shove them in the shower.
