Pressure Washer Recommendations

Lidl...... Petrol driven..... 300bar....

Wouldnt recommend on Motorhome though unless you want to remove old sealant to reseal.
Powerfull enough to cut soft brick.

On my Second Karcher in around 20 years now. I suspect the pressure is now dropping through wear though, but this last one is getting on for 10 years old. The first was worked really hard during a self build. If I have a "complaint" it is that spares (when available), for the likes of the rotary paving washer, are nearly as expensive as replacement devices!!.
We have spoken about a pressure washer and wondered about one that can suck from a tank rather than having to be connected to a main water supply.
I have the Suction hose, with N-R Footvalve and filter for the Karcher. Used to be advertised on their website.

We had Nilfisk, power washers on the Gothenburg to Immingham Ferries in the 70`s. Very good quality Swedish? Kit, if I remember correctly. My 4th Engineer, drowned a Generator with one in a Forge 8 Gale in the North Sea, Blacked the ship out, and started a fire. Took 30 min to kill the fire and 4 hours to get full power restored, HE was not popular!

What ever brand I will get one with a reel next pressure hose is the invention of the devil

I bought an extra long pressure hose for my Karcher, comes in handy for doing the van roof and coils up easily as long as you unplug the quick release fitting first. My ancient and cumbersome Warwick hot pressure washer has the standard 3/4" OD hose and that's like wrestling an anaconda to tidy it away, I should really buy a qr fitting for it too. I would recommend a hot water washer if you can afford it, makes a big difference to the cleaning and even gets oil stains off my block paving.
I got given a Karcher unit for spares and although the swash plate housing is aluminium and the pistons are hardened steel, the valve heads are a plastic injection moulding, so as has been mentioned, built to a price these days.

I had a Nilfisk cheapie, but now have a Stihl 130. https://www.toolbritannia.co.uk/gar...6mPniAGnHfJ1v1-b_pUqMN6ksNiwKnyRoCIqwQAvD_BwE

I looked around quite a bit and think Nilfisk and Stihl are same on some models, both are good though.

not sure about build quality though, between the two but I notice the Stihl is quite a bit heavier.

Well I've taken the plunge and ordered a Nilfisk 130, £130 from Argos.

It's difficult to make a decision using online reviews, as most (all) of the reviewers are testing new equipment, so wouldn't expect problems.

Of the actual buyers, many complain about lower quality of recent Karcher stuff.

Had both. Another vote for Nilfisk from me
