Rally Chat Pre - Pembrey, Burry Port

Thank you for the info
I don't want to hijack the thread so apologies, but what facilities are there at Burry Port, is it just a car park that motorhomes can use and pay for a ticket or is it a small site?
The 2 weeks leading up to Pembrey we are travelling around Wales and might tack this on the end, particularly if it's good for the dogs
Thanks again (y)

It's a very basic '' Aire '' with toilet facilities on the harbourside, you can buy a ticket to stay from the Harbourmaster, the town has most things including pubs shops etc & the beach is perfect for running your dog with the coastal path right there too.

Sounds perfect, I might try and tag along then, thanks again

Thanks Jock, Will communicate with him nearer to the time just to check. Better to be sure rather than just turn up and find for some reason we cannot be accommodated.

@Boycie. Things are still very much active for MHs Phil. According to the Harbour Master's Office, there were 30 + MHs pitched here last weekend.

Due to a blunder by Kiln Park Tenby (which they have sorted), we found ourselves here a week sooner than planned. Unfortunately, that means we won't be here prior to the Pembrey Meet, as we have to go back to Tenby on Monday 19th, so won't be able to join you all at The Cornish Arms for a meal. :(

See you at Pembrey on the 23rd. (y)

Cheers for now,

Jock (& Rita). :)

Jock It is with great regret that we have had to pull out of Pembrey as Nicki has to go into Hospital on the 19th and the recovery time is around 4 to 6 weeks. We were both looking forward to it and a few days at Burry Port.
Nicki & Phil. :(

Who ever wishes to stay at the Burry Port 'aire' prior to the Pembrey meet next week I am sure will be very welcome, the Cornish Arms is still doing good food at reasonable prices and the chip shop opposite the Cornish is also recommended.
We will miss the pre and the meet this year but hope the weather gods smile on you all.
Enjoyo
Cheers
Ed
