Prawns, do you or don't you

Come on guys, It's not a difficult to remove the vein if left in it has a bitter taste so will ruin that lovely delicate flavour of the prawn.

Reminds me of an Italian in a restaurant in Naples put the hole prawn on his mouth crunched it up the made an horrendous noise spiting out the bits, totally discusting. 🤮

I tend to just eat them whole heads, tails, legs and whatever comes.

Fresh prawns, a fresh baguette and a bottle of champagne.

Just back with prawns (big 'uns), scallops (whoppers, with roe), a John Dory and a plaice from my weekly visit to a Hastings fish man who comes on Fridays to a nearby garden centre. He, his Dad and his brother have a boat each although obviously not everything on his stall has been caught by them as the range is too vast with all types of fish including the less commonly seen gurnard and carp, plus lobsters, crabs, cockles, crayfish, mussels, clams, oysters, razorfish, winkles, whelks............(I love 'em all and spend a small fortune there 😋). Almost as exciting as French quayside fish markets and restos which seem to be my second home.
Pics from earlier this year.............
