Hi to all, we are going south in Feb we usually go Costa blanca area because it seems to be the warmest area with the shortest drive from uk through France, we fancy going to Portugal but is the weather ok this time of the year? We are ok if it isn’t very hot so long as it is dry and bright, all input will be greatly appreciated.

This time of year it will still be warm enough to swim probably up until Xmas. From Jan on it is usually quite warm during the day but chilly at night, you will get odd wet days but overall I have always found it to be almost as good as our summer weather

If you go to the Algarve it should be adequately dry and bright. (Swimming would depend on how hardy you are - remember it's the Atlantic, not the Med!)

Yes...without doubt....encourage as many Germans and Dutch to go with you...some French and Scandis too...
Ease the strain on the Spanish Costas...

Actually our experience's with Portugal is very favourable....give it a try....nice people too..

Boa viagem
