An Anderson socket off the hab battery is useful as a speedy plug in for a solar panel. If used with a decent sized cable off the battery it can also be used as a supply for an inverter.
Have you fitted a battery master ?
Mike.
No Battery master fitted

No Battery master fitted, removed battery today and took these 2 pics of fuses connected to positive terminal.First fuse 50 amp looks fine . 2nd one on a thinner wire 20 amp fuse with some burning to the fuse holder.Battery wasn’t turning engine over took it to a friends measuring 10.2 on his meter . New battery ordered bit concerned about burning on the fuse holder on second red wire .

At a guess I'd say that 20A fuse is the fridge 12V heater element supply, from the starter battery to the EBL. The element takes about 15A, which is quite high for these terminals, and if there's any slight imperfection it causes a bit of resistance. The resistance starts to get hot, and results in oxidation and more resistance, so it gets even hotter. The end result is something like your picture.

Worth replacing it with a good quality one. something like this:
You probably want the terminals for the thicker wire (2.0 to 3.0mm sq).

The fridge should only work from 12V when the engine is running, the EBL switches it on and off automatically. This wire is the High Current (HC) supply, from the alternator/starter battery. It only powers the fridge 12V heating element, not the control electronics.

The fridge also has another 12V Low Current (LC) supply, from the leisure battery, that powers the control board, gas solenoid and ignition etc. The LC supply is always on

Fitted new Starter battery 100ah 900a.
Van is in storage went today and on the control panel vehicle battery is showing just over 13 v with engine off. I have bought one of those solar chargers that you you plug into cigarette lighter.(Sealey 12v 1.5 w Solar charger) Read somewhere else that if it’s reading over 12.8 it’s getting charge from somewhere so hopefully it’s working cos there’s no indicator light on charger.
