E-bay's AI has already got back to me to confim the listing is not in breach of their policy so they will not be taking any action...

So plenty of unsuspecting buyers will think they are getting an absolute bargain (when they are just getting an old bit of tech, at a not ridiculously low price).

At least, for most folk, it's probably all they really need anyway!

Sleaze-bay's reaction to legitimate reports of 'mis-use' (such as obvious MH selling scams) is just another reason for me to avoid them at all costs.

It's only a 4g CAT4 unit and can't/won't deliver best access to mobile signal bands. Don't ask me what I'm talking about 'cause I haven't a clue but there are a couple of recent threads where this is discussed in detail.

Just a note for anyone thinking of purchasing the refurbished ZTE from eBay I purchased the grade c one for £145 and when it arrived (next day) it's like new not a mark on it anywhere.

Well I’ve collected the ZTE and Ditcha you must have been lucky, I went for the Grade C (heavy marks) from eBay seller and it’s really bad.
OK I lied not a mark on it, just got to set it up later.

ZTE is definitely interesting - especially Grade C price (not fussed about a few marks)...

... but I would like to know if it's giving you better performance than the Huawei (specs suggest ZTE is still just Cat 4 on 4G LTE).

Lack of decent 5G in much of UK (for now) makes 4G performance more important.

Just found "cat 22" in a different spec sheet - so should be a big improvement.

I also found conflicting info on CAT20/22 however, I THINK, the 22 was for when it had an RJ45 port but possibly (almost certainly!) wrong.

Well I’ve got it up and running and it’s working well, better than the Huawei B535.
I’ve got my smarty in it but also tried wife’s 1p mobile which uses EE and that’s definitely better than Smarty.
Been playing with settings and found you don’t get full site till you change the password, interesting and frustrating times a head.
Pleased so far.

Nothing at all, but if I want a mifi box, I'll have a mifi box! We each have 50Gb on our Spanish phone Sims, but we regularly use it all. And we're away for 6 months ...

You must have found something better to look at than us if you are using 1000gb per month!
We're on 25gb each per month and don't get any where near busting that. Mind you it might be different if we were football fans!

As with all rechargeable batteries leaving them permanently charging is not recommended as it shortens their lifespan

I’ve been monitoring the battery percentage and turning on usb when it gets to 40% but I have noticed whilst in use the percentage doesn’t get to 100%.
I did try removing the battery and turning on power but just got battery symbol ( I know nighthawk m1 can run without battery)
I’ve also downloaded the ZTE app and that makes it easier to check and change stuff.
