Pop ups?

30 minutes ago and seen one yesterday as well.

I’ve had about 3 pop-up ads today. Didn’t think to do a screenshot - and now I can’t get one to appear! Using iPad with Safari browser.

Just got another by clicking on the alert and selecting your thanks Gromett.

Not seeing anything on my iPhone (iOS 14.4.2 Safari), but I do use 4 different content blockers. I did try temporarily disabling them, but to no avail.

This one just, iPad using Safari. It's been the same since yesterday, this happened after tapping 'What's New'.

Screen shots are no longer helpful.

If you can provide the URL in your address bar, and note the following.
Did it just pop up on it's own, or did it pop up right after clicking something like reply or to give a like etc?

Thanks

I’m also getting them on here(phone) only, just for the last 2 days

sent you a pm Gromett clicked on What's New tab and got one of that damn things and the alert button too.

Are you running an adblocker?

AdBlock Plus enabled - No pop ups

Although it is blocking: /forum/threads/pop-ups.238515/

ok, I have gone over the server and the site as thoroughly as possible and cannot see anything out of place.

I have looked for any file that has been created or changed in the last 3 days and cannot see any that are cause for concern.
I have re-rerun our malware checks and nothing is found.

I suspect this is not on our end. I will continue to look but I would normally have found something by now.

i was getting this too, also on safari ipad. I went to settings - safari - advanced - website data & deleted everything I didn’t recognis.

Seems to have fixed it for now.
Cheers
Jane

Please shout up if you see any more. Thanks

As clearing the browser cache seems to fix this, I suspect it was a client side issue rather than a server side issue.

There are a number of possible causes, but nothing we can deal with at our end unfortunately?

I have had it on my phone (android) but not on the PC
