Pont Aven Food

He is not asking what he is going to be eating - he is asking what the arrangements are.

I haven’t got an “attitude” about this I am just losing the ‘kin will to live!
Ok , you tell him then. I'm out

You're a lawyer Chris
You must have argued more difficult cases than this!

With services necessarily scaled back and the number of passengers on board at any given time significantly reduced, we’ve done what we can to still provide tasty food that reflects our values but that is delivered in a manner that is both covid-secure and respects the recommended physical distancing rules.
Sadly we’re not yet able to offer A La Carte services but we’re working hard on their anticipated return in the new year. Instead we’re offering food through our self-service restaurants, ensuring a structured and constant flow of people through the service area and giving plenty of space in the dining area too
On busy sailings, in order to maintain social distancing, you will be invited to dine at time slots, according to the colour code on your cabin key. Announcements will be made to this effect and again, I hope you’ll find the system reassuringly structured and helpful.
Feedback from our customers on these changes so far has been good, some have found it hard to understand what time some facilities will be open and where certain food will be served. We’re working on a way of delivering this information to you before you travel however, if you have any concerns at the time of sailing, please do go to our exceptionally friendly colleagues at the Information Desk; they’re always happy to help.

What they really mean is you can get cold or microwaved food or go to the top deck and get Beef Stew or Fish and Chips !

Not the Pont Aven but have travelled on the Bretagne and the Mont St Michel in July and August, we ate in the self service as we normally do being poor pensioners:giggle:.
Food was as it normally is, not haute cuisine but acceptable, very quiet, no worries about distancing.

You don't get Beef stew on a French boat!........its Beef Bourguignon :giggle: ........and very nice it is too with chips, carry it downstairs and eat in the warm!
Yeah but its still stew ...i ordered it with chips and a coke as a " cure me or kill me " sat there staring at it for 10 minutes while i was dry boaking then had to run fkr the bathroom being sick through my fingers ..

Made a right mess of that boat and haven't been on one yet

Dread to think what the other passengers thought id eaten or drank lol

Self-service restaurants provide snacks, buffets, and hot dishes. We offer favourite British dishes such as fish and chips, plus salads, baguettes, sandwiches and other snacks. Hot and cold beverages, plus wine, beer and cider are also available.

Children are always well catered for with a special under twelves' menu.

Eating and drinking on board
We’ve always loved feeding you. Over the years we’ve built a reputation for excellent cuisine on board, as far removed from the usual transport food options as you can imagine and we’re really proud of that!

On Cap Finistère, hot meals will be served in Le Café Salad Bar and we have temporarily opened a basic self-service facility for all passengers in the Driver’s Lounge. Other snacks and drinks can be purchased in Le Petit Marché. The Cap Finistère Bar will also open.

Main bars on all our ships will be open but please ensure you observe the onboard guidelines with respect to physical distancing and, as with all public areas on board, please wear your masks at all times until you are seated and ready to eat or drink. Again, this is a point of law, not choice.

Ships still out of service & a bit of a jinx

The service area ( aire) just before or after the bridge depending on which direction you are going,

Tell him what F FS?

I totally agree with you here Chris.
Some people are just difficult and i dont even know why they comment on here.
The op is asking a straight forward question that deserves a answer from somebody that has travelled recently on the pont aven.
If people havent got a answer to the question or a reasonable response Find something else to do.Simple
