I try and keep the system in good order by putting a squirt of thick bleach down each plug hole and leaving some waste to slosh around and give it all a clean on the way home then drain everything down at home. Occasionally I have the top screw access seal off and clean the tank sensor. We have catchers to stop food going down the kitchen sink.

We were away at the Appletree Cornwall Showground Motorhome event for a long weekend and every time we emptied the washing up bowl I needed to use the good old fashioned plunger on the sink waste hole to make it go away.

Before I do anything drastic has anyone got any tips to keep the system clear.

The wife is suggesting that I re-plumb it all!

We use Bio washing sachets for the cassette, so I favour filling kitchen sink with boiling water drop in a sachet, wait till it dissolves and then pull out the plug.

Boiling water should deal with any fatty deposits in the pipes and Bio should act in tank same as cassette.
