Planning route now Somport is closed

Went Via Foix, N20 then C16 in April and plan on going that way in about 3-4 weeks, obvious will keep updating weather conditions. Anyone been this route in November or is it a case of playing safe via Millau and coast route just this way is so bland and we always get stuck in a traffic jam, probably now the tunnels are closed.

We went through the Bielsa tunnel few weeks ago nice route much better than the Somport.

Agree nicer route, always seems further when leaving the Costas to Toulouse on our way to tunnel than normal route via Foix. But logically thinking its probably faster roads and less twisty especially in the worse months.

Never used the Col du Pourtalet route is it mega twisty ?
