We are heading to Europe late summer . Does anyone know a nice place to stopover just north of Paris

Can't help, avoid cities like the plague especially large ones like Paris.

It’s on the banks of the Seine and about a 20 mins walk to the rail station, then about 1/2 hour to Paris.

Other than a few obvious bits of architecture I really don't like Paris or may other big cities for that matter. The dirt, the smell and the ridiculous high cost trying to fleece the tourists takes the shine off. A nice site a short train journey outside would be my choice. Public transport in France and other European countries are so much easier than the UK

Camping options near Paris for visiting Musee D'Orsay

Biiiig birthday for my wife. One dream for her is the Musee D'Orsay. The idea is to go in the camper to the outskirts of Paris and train / metro to the museum. Initial thought is Camping de Paris which seems to suit nicely. But what about alternative sites / aires etc? Any ideas? Thank you

I was on an aire in Bergerac a month ago and a French camper was telling me about this place. I said I would never take the MH into Paris. He said he uses it often and it is very good. I like Paris, but always stay well away from the place and train it in.

Simples
But Paris will be manic in around 100 days time
