Silly question, presumably the USB stick was formatted in a compatible format (FAT32?) for the toolbox?

Yes, I updated my maps last year. Paid update. Sorry can't help more, but away for a few days.

I have just had the AvicZ1000DAB installed in our new Carado. Had to buy the extra Connects 2 CTKFT31 FIATDucato 2021 harness to enable connection of the phone controls on the steering wheel.

Looking to update the maps but on registering with Naviextras.com, I can only see options for Windows. Has anybody succeeded with updates using a MacBook or IPad?

I believe Naviextras is a Windows based system…..well the toolbox says it is anyway.

All updates need to be done via a USB connection.

We have a Pioneer AVIC 800 series only 3.5 years old and found out the sat nav update is £150 and their software can only be downloaded with a Windows compatible PC. I managed to get a free one as apparently they have an arrangement with Carthago. But during our current Italy trip the voice instruction has disappeared. Switch to CarPlay and maps instead and it crashes. So thinking of alternatives….
