Peterborough Show April 2013- FULL CLOSED

Newbie Question

Hi Jim, this will be our first rallies /meet. we are picking up our MH in March but to book on line we have to give van reg we dont know it will i be able just to put the 13 down. Thanks

Peterborough Show

Hi Jim,
Just booked a few moments ago from Breckenridge Colorado where we are enjoying a wee ski break with the family in this lovely ski resort. Yes I know it is hard but have to spend the children's inheritance before the silly buggers fritter it away. Looking forward to meeting in the flesh at last.

Wasn't it a lovely day the day, we went to Peterborough

2012 was absolutely horrid. I think a few people will think long and hard before rallying here again. So much mud!

Admittedly, we personally didn't experience last year's poor weather at the P/boro show, (too busy sunning it up in Spain :Laughing:), but I can assure you, living locally, last year's weather and conditions were exceptionally bad, which is not normally experienced in this area at that time of year.

The whole of Britain has experienced exceptionally bad weather conditions of recent months.

I would and always have say Peterborough Show is the best show of the year, and funsters have always had a big attendance and a great time. :thumb:

Don't know who you rallied with last year, but motorhome fun had over a hundred booked and over 80 attended, and even though we had a river running through our party tents, people still came in for a drink and a chat, and most were towed off and I cant remember anyone moaning about it.

We are unable to attend this year, as we will still be in Spain, but as marshals for that show, we will admit it was a memorable one, but it would never put us off, and look forward to going again, has to be said that funsters are a hardy lot. and just get on with it. :Wink::Rofl1:

No, no, you've taken me all wrong...

I was saying 2013 was a horrid year for weather and not knocking the Funsters rally - I can't, I wasn't there. You sound like you had fun & must have adopted the Dunkirk spirit.

Me? I slipped base over apex, I was soaked to the skin, covered in mud and very cold. Worse part - I do live locally, I could have got a cab home and gone back for the van another day. See? It's still a raw nerve :cry:
