Pet passport address and dates questions (1 Viewer)

Hi all. We got a nice vet near Hossegor to issue us a pet passport. He left the address blank for us to complete, so first question is whether we can put our UK address or some other EU address here. We have relatives in Brussels so can use theirs if necessary.

Also he copied over the vaccination date which was prior to the date of reading of the transponder. I remember seeing a thread which said that could be a problem but can’t find it now.

The address is a minor convenience, the rabies date before chip read date is an issue.

The read date needs to be before on the same as the vaccination date.

If before it is very likely to be rejected and you will need to get a second vaccine and date added to the passport, by an eu vet.

Thanks. I thought so. We have the AHC as well so will get a rabies jab on our next trip.
