Rally Pershore Plum Festival 2020 24/8 to 1/9/20 (THE FESTIVAL NOW CANCELLED BUT NOT THE RALLY!)!)

We’re happy to stay on the list with fingers, toes and everything that can be crossed crossed! :pray2: ??
 
Things are looking a little bit more positive, so I too have every thing crossed.

Does that mean I get TWO tickets if it's a raffle draw for next available space ? (y)(y)(y)

Thank you for bring that to my attention (which was made when I moved everyone up a notch after a cancellation)

In answer to your question.
No it doesn't mean you get two tickets.,It means you will be Doubly disappointed if at least eight Funsters cancel and then, out of the eight peeps above you on the Reserve List, one of them doesn't want their place.

I've said it before God, (of any persuasion) loves an optimist.?

As a result of the relaxation of restrictions allowing Camp Sites to open as of today, please be advised that, going forward, we are unable to allow day visitors to the Rally Field during the rally at Avon Bank.

Obviously, if there is an alteration to this restriction you will be informed in due course.

Dear All,

The good news is Boris Johnson has said that camp sites can re-open .
The bad news is that we do not know how the camp sites will manage bookings and no mention was made of rallies.

I do not think the PM will be aware what a rally is and I would not expect him to know.

He did not mention how many people can join together as a group, so we do not know how we stand with our rallies.

Already on Face book people are saying they are going to a rally, whilst others have said we need to get the O.K. from CoM.

I have repeatedly said, and I say again,

“Neither I nor CoM will be saying go ahead it is alright for you to rally, as if anything goes wrong I and we, would be culpable.

Groups will have to listen to the Government advice and make up their own minds.

Please do not do anything to put in jeopardy our Exemption Certificate, without which we cannot rally.

I have tried to contact Natural England, which grants our Exemption Certificate but, due to the virus, they are short staffed.

I have left a voicemail and have sent an email expressing my concerns and asking for a quick response. There is nothing more I can do.

Hi,

I have put you on the list for Autumn at Avon Bank.

This rally, (Pershore Plum Festival) is full and we are not taking names for the Reserve List.
 
Sorry to disappoint all attendees to Pershore but, as a result of Covid 19, we will not be taking our books that we sell in aid of Prostate Cancer UK.

I notice 2 members on the list haven’t paid deposits yet, does that mean they are not going.

As a result, on the same day, I responded to your post. (See Post 133 above). I quoted your post, (meaning that, in addition to being seen by everyone, my message went into your personal page and was 'Red Flagged' where the Bell is on the top Line)
I Posted, (Post No. 133)

In summary, I did respond to your message.
I told you that you had obtained a place at The Autumn Rally.
I further told you that there were no places remaining for the Plum Festival and that I was not adding names to the Reserve List.

To all attendees to this rally.

As a result of the Cancellation of the Plum Festival itself, I have removed the insistence that all attendees, whether they book 7 or 8 nights, would include the nt. of 31st August.

I put that in the OP originally to restrict Funsters leaving the site and moving their vans on the last evening having been to the Festival that day.

This rally is still of 7 or 8 nights duration.
 
Hi Derek

We have just got our date for moving into our new house and it is that week so going to have to cancel. I know these dates can move but as in Scotland am hoping to get the date sign for in the next few days so a certainty.

Could you please keep the deposit for Prostrate cancer uk

Apologies again - we were surposed to have moved in in April!

I have been sent the below by Lisa, the owner of Avon Bank Meadows.

Pershore Rugby Club are organising activities at their site on Saturday 29th August.
She was unable to include on the flyer that there is an admission charge on the door/gate of £3.

Submitted for the information of all.

For Funsters who are unaware of the locus of the Rugby Club. It is on Mill Lane, (the same road as Avon Bank) and only a short walk from the site.
