Great van, 9 speed auto is a dream. It on the Fiat Heavy Chassis, as for a towbar. Mike Parkinson in Preston £675. He will even loan you a car while he fits the towbar.

thanks ,,,think i can forget my trip to France if it takes 5 weeks ,i never even thought about the need to have it for France until i seen another on here saying ,,hope my logbook comes back in time ,, looks like i will be waiting till after august to go now ,,thanks for all your great help,,

I'd go to France and not worry. Traveled pleasure and business for over 30 years. Could count on one hand the number of times I've taken a V5.

hi ,,could you say where the solar controller is on the g740 cant seem to see any ,,just shows it on the panel as charging ,,? and have you ever had the front blind come down while driving ,,cant see how to lock it up ,,i have contacted pilote ,,but they dont seem to answer ,,thanks

The solar controller is built into the IDS control unit.
As for the pull down blind, pull it down from the bottom. Then pull the top part way down, then push the top back up making sure it is all the way up. Then push the bottom section up.
They can get bound up if the pleats don't all fold correctly.

You need the user manual for the IDS unit. It should be in the information pack / wallet.

Item 16 on page 8, shows location. Page 13 and 14 shows the settings for battery type..
By selecting the dip switch options the built in controller you are changing the charging profile for the different battery types.
