Paying for Motorhome parking using RingGo

personally i love ringo you no longer have to guess how long you need as you can extend it from your phone, no need to carry coins. most london street parking is now either ringo or pay phone and there is no cash option

Ringo is not the only app, I have 4 others on my phone, some dont even take cash, has to be via an app or you have to phone a number if you havent got a smart phone and pay over the phone.
Modern World !!

I was just too late to stop the parking warden slapping on the parking notice. In discussion with him when walking back to the van it sounded as though the would not have given me one because of the problems I had in paying. He did check his handheld, I think to see if he could cancel it, but too late? Anyway he gave me his number to use in challenging the council about the fine. My email to the was acknowledged but so far I have heard no more about it.

Me too would rather park outside the town and walk for ½hour on principle. Hate UK rip off parking prices.
In London that would be a long walk.
There is almost zero free parking within 7 miles of the centre
There is also a £12 congestion charge for the centre, and that is before you pay for parking, which would be at least £5 per hour

The Ring-Go App has more than enough built in detail of the vehicles to be able to work out the length.

Here is my list of regular vehicles I use, on the Ring-Go database
As you can see they have the diesel emissions produced on the Citroen and the Ford Minibus.
The Petrol driven 1966 Landrover they dont care about
And the Diesel Mercedes Motorhome is Euro6

I'm a regular user of the Ring-Go app to park the 6.75m motorhome, and as far as I'm concerned as long as all four wheels are inside the parking space I'm only paying for one ticket.

I have a history of going after anyone who gives me a parking ticket.
It has been my policy for many years to ensure no one can profit from producing a ticket.
So if they really want a 9 month exchange of letters (NEVER ever email or phone!) then I actually would relish the opportunity.
I'm very happy to appear in court, my experience so far has always been, they are not!
