Pay as You Go Sim in MiFI

I thought three send a text message to the MiFi unit as part of the registering process.

You can get around that by making a call to their help desk and explain that you're using it for data. They did it for me while I was on the line. Was a while ago I used one though.

Hi donkey, I use the app to connect to the MIFI, if you use a laptop or Tablet once you connected the Mifi use ip address 192.168.8.1 then you should the attached pic, to check setting go to the setting tab, default user is admin and pw is admin

Don't need to call them the Mifi picks up texts.

Hi to everyone that went too the trouble to respond to my original issue.

If I'm honest I feel a bit of a fool, after trying almost all of your suggestions with no success I decided to take the advice of Sillious Sodus and Landy Andy. I switched the mifi device off, removed and removed the sim card, gave it a wipe put it back in and hey presto all is fine.

Thank you all once again, memo to self, next time try the simple things first.

Which app? So far I have no associated apps for the MIFI.
Before it stopped working on WIFI it worked on two kindles, one tablet, one ipad, one laptop and the PC. Then it just stopped.

Huawei HiLink, its almost unusable without the app. It gives you access to most of the basic settings, text, & data usage.
