Apparently if you have an Audi or Mercedes sports, it is obligatory to straddle the white line and take up two spaces. I have to admit if i am in a fairly empty carpark at a supermarket I park away from the other cars and do the same thing, except 4 spaces as I am longer than a normal parking space. In the van of course.

Like what they do driving on the motorway.

if I park in a supermarket, I use 4 spaces so I've got turning space to pull out

So do I or try and get 2 bays on the end of a row

Alway's look for where the delivery van's park up as they have an extended space, perfect fit for my 7mtr arse end
Tesco 500 yards from us, nobody can park anywhere near van as zoned all round parking spot !

But while we're into details, I think the Golf is also squint & sticking out on it's back left corner..

Which makes 3 out of four cars being a disgrace... I quite understand the frustration!
