I know a lot of ROMA , even had a Roma G/F and we are still close friends ,
But Irish travellers i have had nothing but bad experiences with them , at work and in in my daily life ,,,,What make me very angry is that on several occaisions I have had to take the law into my own hands to deal with them because the police are Frightened of them .

I'm of the other approach

Everytime a council bans motorhomes from carparks and puts up height barriers we should turn up in our hundreds and block the carpark or drive slowly down the street causing chaos.


Like the farmers or French lorry drivers


But nah its good old blighty where everyone just says " why antagonise these people "

The French, as you say, do this. And they get away with it.

Even when we protest - we've had hundreds of thousands, even millions, involved in protests over the years - it's pretty much just ignored.

Maybe we're not committed enough. The French torch cars, block motorways, vandalise toll booths, get out the yellow vests. Our protests are barely reported on by the news.

Did you ak them what their reasoning was for no 'A' Class? Maybe not, as you just wanted to get the booking confirmed, but maybe as you are leaving if the booking is in the future.

I didn’t to be honest, it isn’t somewhere I would normally use as they don’t allow dogs, understandable as it’s a sheep farm as well.

They didn’t even leave the house when I checked in, or open the door fully.

I asked about sleeping overnight in Bournemouth Council Carparks (BCP)

They responded that they are unable to prove that people are sleeping in their vans so are unable to issue parking fines

Along as they are parking in the right spaces they are powerless to do anything, this is different to parking on the side of the road in Bournemouth as they display car over motorbike signs which they interpret as car and motorbike not motor vector and motor cycle.
